Pros

The staff, there are so many hard grafting managers and sales assistants etc. The employee discount is OK. The work/life balance is really good for me at least. I'll always be really thankful to this company for giving me my beginnings but overall a lot of improvement needs to be made on their part. The job itself isn't that hard infact I'd call it easy for the most part. It's definitely a stepping stone job. Good progression if you fight for it.

Cons

Some managers are lovely people but bad at the job, they struggle to make rotas and don't tell you when it's been changed. I hear the area manager shouting at managers a lot and I find that disgusting honestly because that's not how you motivate people. The fact you can lose your bonus for a mistake as simple as leaving a door open when no ones in the store, is shocking. Some people treated way better than others like one pregnant staff member who caused hell the entire time she was there and was blatantly racist screamed at staff and customers left cash unnattended aswell as safe keys laying around the store for anyone to take, yet she had no repurcussions because they were afraid of her. I find that annoying. The lack of communication is irritating, as well as some managers asking staff to do other tasks when you've already given them jobs for the night that need doing ASAP before close in an hour which then end up not getting done and you get asked why. Bad security company working for the stores, they rarely do their job its left to management to stop theifs. Told not to stop theifs ourselves but then if we dont we're asked why we didn't?

Pros

Seeing regular customers - building relationships

Cons

I have so many cons I could fill a book. Bullying from the top all the way to the sales advisors, would only recommend working here if you don’t care about your mental wellbeing.
