Avoid the Latin America Group

The US and Canada employees seems to have a nice place to work. There are several people that have worked in Sunstar for many years and they are very happy.

Cons

Different from Canada and US, the Latin America Group Management is rude, stubborn and highly disrespectful for people's work. There is non stop high pressure, always changing demands and little recognition imposed from the regional management under a “This is normal" and "You should get used to that” mantra. Avoid this group at any cost.

I can't think of any.

Cons

This is the most discriminating place that I have ever worked. If your not Mexican, the workers will not have anything to do with you. they will turn the machine up so that you can't keep up, they will only speak spanish and not speak to you for most of the work day. If you bring it to management, they don't care because 90% of the work force is mexican and they need them there.

A great company to start out in and everyone seems to work together towards the same goals. Everyone there is very personable and pleasant. The company just moved headquarters to Schaumburg, IL and it looks like they are doing big things.

Cons

Not many. The move seemed to stress everyone out, but that is understandable. A lot of the employees have been there for years and the overall makeup of the company is older than some may like
