Pros

Relaxed work environment. Informal atmosphere. Great product(s). Environment included in the mission and real work happens against it.

Cons

Career growth and investments in employees (partners) was once commonplace, but have since be cut for cost reasons. Management skills are inconsistent and feedback is emotional and ego related.

Pros

Good compesation Fair work/life balance Great coworkers Fair benefits

Cons

The most incompetent Leadership I've ever had to work with. Constant re-orgs and changes in TOP management, with very little to no knowledge or experience in the business. Bad communication. Non existent in most cases. Lack of career path There is no technology or IT resources to allow you to effectively and efficientely do your job. Great company values, that nobody fosters. Very dissapointing experience, not what I expected from a company known as an employer of choice.

Pros

excellent benefits, generally awesome people to work with (of course there are exceptions), free drinks while you work!, if you're good at your job (and can back that up) it looks great on a resume (people know you deal with difficult customers regularly), great place to learn about the world - how to deal with EVERY kind of person in the world, etc

Cons

early hours (comes with the territory of coffee shops though), increasingly difficult upper (district and higher) management, not nearly as flexible as it used to be, benefits decreasing ("personal" days are a thing of the past, vacation time harder to accrue)....
