Pros

Amazing benefits, great learning opportunity as it has a very team oriented atmosphere. Perfect for a college student for some extra cash money. They really do try to treat you well in many aspects, with things like a free mark-out meal per shift, vacation hours, stock, free beans each week, free drinks, etc. Not to mention all the life experience you get talking with customers and coworkers throughout your shift. All this is offered to someone who often has no previous work experience!

Cons

Buuuut there's more. I love the company, but every time I visit as a former barista, I breathe a sigh of relief that I'll never work another shift there. It's a mentally and physically taxing job. You talk to people all day, which has its upside, but also can be exhausting. You're standing all day, often making drinks close to the speed of light, which often gives you a back ache by the end of your shift. Store managers are notoriously micro-managers, while simultaneously scheduling you out of your availability. But hey, it's a college job for inexperienced workers, and someone's gotta do it. I would strongly recommend working here, but you may want to keep it to two years so you don't get jaded and arthritic.

Pros

Free coffee. Organized IT department. (maybe not the best but important).

Cons

Culture is not what you think it would be. While every corporate environment has it's challenges, expect to see stuff in print that won't apply to you.
