Pros

Flex hours and being that you are by far smarter then all management, you could easily get away with pushing the limits on when you really showed up. Outsmarting them was very easy since they have no clue what you actually do or are responsible to do in a day. They usually just walk around like lost Donkeys, drinking their free coffee and noding their head like that actually know what the hell they are talking about... So you could say anything and they will nod "ah yes, I agree.. Cause I'm so stupid. I have no idea what you are talking about but as your boss I must pretend".. So for entertainment value it was definitely worth working there

Cons

If your a woman, a person with a any sort of tint to their skin or an IQ above 65.. You will unfortunately be stuck taking orders from incompetent human looking cattle that now has an ability to make decisions on your behalf. It's quite exhausting. You constantly have to explain common sense to these people that think they own you.. Like actually own you, slave style. They make bad decision after bad decision where you have to constantly put fires out behind them. Due to these managers incompetence, youre stuck chaperoning their meetings just in case the client asks them a question that they never know the answer to so you find yourself spending more time holding their hand then focusing on your work. If you were looking to learn something from anyone in upper management for career growth, unfortunately you surpassed them in skill set by the age of 2 when you figured out how to urinate in a toilet.

Worst Company I have Worked For

Pros

The office buildings have large windows which create sunny working spaces. The floors are spacious with good ergonomic working stations.

Cons

Poor leadership. Management calls themselves "leadership" which is a title they do not deserve because they lack the skills necessary to lead a team of professionals. A small group of "old boys" call the shots and inflict their backward way of doing things on the rest of the company. They stifle innovative thinking and do not contribute anything of value to a project. They are in fact a drain on a project's budget. The company is too bureaucratic and their management structure and quality process is prohibitively expensive. When profits go down the rank and file are asked to work harder and improve their charge-ability while management spends hard earned dollars at three day get aways to develop the next business plan. The recommendations of those businesses plans is to fire staff in order to reduce costs. Hardly a formula for continued success and growth.

Pros

Pay rate and benefits package were decent. Company paid for training as needed. Excellent coworkers who strive to do their best.

Cons

No job security. When things slow down, company is quick to cut rather than find solutions to keep people working. High management turnover (which should tell you something). No job description, no mentorship for new employees. No one tells you how to do something correctly, only criticizing your work after you make mistakes. Management does a poor job of managing work and employees to keep them all busy. The company only views you in terms of your billable hours; even if you are doing other work which benefits the organization (such as proposal writing and technical initiatives), if your hours billed to actual project work falls below a certain minimum, you are in trouble.
