      Standard Bank is a huge organisation that offers diverse opportunities within the bank. Not only are they focused on the organisations growth, but that of their employee too.

      Cons

      Banks need to ensure that their brand is perceived as being reliable, trusted somewhat conservative, as such innovation is sightly (not much) inhibited when compared to companies in other industries

      Work life balance was great, no Saturday banking, as a personal banker i worked from the comfort of my branch, i hardly ever went out to source client. I worked on increasing the net-worth of existing client

      Cons

      Management doesn't listen to the what the employees are saying. they were always late to take initiative and launch products to counter competition.
