The running joke is "I feel like I'm about to be fired" - except it wasn't a joke, everyone is constantly concerned about whether or not they were going to have a job- it makes you completely insecure, paranoid, and disengaged
The management decisions are irrational- I don't like the color of this or that, change it, even though you spent 100 man hours on it already and its two hours before the end of the day on Thanksgiving eve...
No appreciation- even when you do an outstanding job or go above and beyond, they just move on, without any recognition whatsoever.
There are several VP's who have absolutely no idea what they're doing- they were hired because they were either FOJ's (friends of Joe), spartan fanatics that got ahold of someones phone number, or have some military background. This means that the projects that they make a priority are completely off-base and ridiculous- and many of them are DOA and actually never make it to market- they're just a huge waste of resources
There is a SERIOUS boys club attitude-
They keep hiring remote team members- who don't have the proper qualifications- which sets the team back further, rather than moving it forward.
No direction, no strategy, no communication
