Pros

You do get to meet really awesome people, once you get over the rude. jealous, stuck up ones you'll work with in management. There is a lot asked of you with work flow, so this is a great for time management adjusting and learning how to work in a fast pace environment. You will be tested daily by very rude clients and co-workers, so this is a great job to work on your patience. You can ride in a class on shift, which doesn't really help you take a break, but you can stay in shape really easily this way. Everyone has heard of Soul, so when you tell people where you work a conversation will be had. Most people who ride are really awesome and connected. So stay tight with them and they will become friends of yours!

Cons

The CEO has killed the culture of the company. Everyone who works in programming has no idea what it's like to work in the field and deal with the clients or terrible instructors. They will base the studio's performance off your marketing outreach -- you will be looked at as lazy and people will ask things of you that aren't realistic. They do know real demographical research in the areas that they will open a studio, so you better be from that area to know how to "grow the business" They won't pay you for all the work you have to do to maintain the business. You won'y be paid enough to live in the area where your studio is, so get ready for a commute -- oh and don't be late even if you have to commute in traffic. They expect you to leave hours before your shift and leave hours after your shift. Your marketing counter parts are JOKES! They know nothing about marketing, like at all. These are girls who worked front desk and brown nosed their way into HQ's across america. So these meetings a pointless and useless every week. You can work your butt off for your community and studio and they will not pay you more. The Area Managers don't know anything about business, these are also people who started at front desk and have history degree's from state college. Most of the people who are able to move up are the nastiest, ugliest, most insecure people you will ever meet in LIFE! DONT TRUST ANYONE. Better yet, don't work here!

Pros

Free classes, discount on apparel, and can guest friends in

Cons

When I read online that soul-cycle was "just like high school", I just assumed it was a bit of an exaggeration...but it truly isn't. I don't even think my high school was this b!tchy. It seemed to be a non-stop gossip pool that concerned instructors, riders, and staff members. It truly was toxic and was turning me into a mean person. There was no commodity amongst co-workers either: people would often go behind another's back and tattle to the manager - which served no purpose other than to put someone else down. I was one of the younger team members and it felt like I had more emotional maturity than the majority of adults. I couldn't understand why personal issues had to be dragged into work.

Pros

Free fitness.... other than that, not much can be said for this snobby boutique fitness brand. One becoming an employee, my ENTIRE outlook on the company changed.

Cons

It's a cliquey environment with adult "mean girls" and "popular kids" in both the employees AND customers. Bullying is ignored.
