The pay and experience is a start. Also the job is in house, so less issues to deal with on the administration front.

Cons

Sometimes the guest are unruly and entitled, not realizing that rules have to be followed, it doesn't matter who you are and what you pay.

The culture at Sofitel is very unique from other places you'll ever work at. You get to work with a lot of people from various countries.. super diverse culture. Great pay and great advancement opportunities for hourly employees

Work lots of hours. Extremely difficult to have a healthy life and work balance
