Pros

I need to tax my brain to recollect the pros I've witnessed about the company....and I ain't kidding!

Cons

> A constant feeling of job insecurity. Company can fire anybody (even the best performer) for no good reason. > Highly unrealistic targets and extreme pressure for numbers. > Hiring good talent at a very cheap package. > No work-from-home facilities > Management doesn't care about employees

Pros

Pays for some training and membership dues. Benefits are not bad & reasonably priced. Only good as a new dietitian job as they won’t let you think outside the box and follow current evidence based practice.

Cons

They hire incompetent managers. They will discriminate against you if you are a minority or disabled and try to cover it up (just search the web for cases). Management chooses their favorite employees and makes everyone else miserable. The pay & raises are below national standards and the amount of busy work needed to get a raise is unreasonable. They do not care about patient care but instead care about making money. The food they serve is gross and not healthy as it’s basically all processed. If you try to make suggestions for improvement they ignore you and will talk down to you. The HR department are incompetent and do not know policies & procedures that are easily looked up on the internal website.

Pros

Location was good. Had a good amount of freedom to perform your duties. Updating tech was a big initiative. The lower level of management and non-management personnel were largely friendly and helpful. Promotions would become available often because of the high turnover in some departments. Marketing had a lot of investment.

Cons

You were honestly treated like a number by your own manager, they didn't care if it was you they were shouting at or another soul that would take your job. My own manager barely spoke to me, the director even worse. Very little support or development beyond sending you on a course so they didn't have to spend time with you. If you managed to get promoted because someone left, there would be even less time spent with you than before. You were on your own, so people would likely move on from their promotion in a year or so. Lots of fully capable but under trained staff that the company could benefit from if they tried harder and gave them more respect. The company floats on the revenue of a handful of big accounts so there is no real thanks for bringing in business that isn't huge, it's just more work for the account teams. The HR department are at the centre of most office rumours unfortunately, little to no confidentiality, would often go in for one issue and come out with stories. Multiple departments had members take time off with stress, I did not but I can see how those members of staff got there. Lots of unhappy people that could have the relationship with the company transformed if the time was taken to learn about them as individuals.
