Disappointing Experience

Pros

Fast growing company. Meet real IT needs with an innovative SaaS solution. Diverse customer base are interesting and fun to work with.

Cons

Many excellent people are let go for virtually no reason. This is demoralizing to those left behind. The firings at ServiceNow make no sense in most cases. They seem to be made on a whim with out any real justifications for the extreme actions taken.

Toxic Culture & Weak Leadership

Business Outlook

Pros

Competitive pay, solid health benefits, stock options, and a joining bonus. The company even offers mental health days which makes sense, because you’ll likely need them to stay balanced in such a stressful environment.

Cons

Behind the big promises lies a disappointing culture. The environment feels heavy, political, and unsupportive. Collaboration is almost non-existent, communication is inconsistent, and it often feels like survival mode rather than teamwork. Some teams and members deliberately limit access to tools or withhold information, making transitions and knowledge sharing nearly impossible. Onboarding and training are minimal, with little clarity or direction. Support systems like “buddies” exist mostly on paper. Leadership often overlooks problematic behavior and avoids accountability. Instead of addressing issues, problems are passed around or ignored, leaving employees feeling unheard. Despite public talk about inclusion and empowerment, diversity and equity often feel like slogans rather than real commitments. HR processes are slow and impersonal, and there’s a general lack of ownership across teams. The overall atmosphere drains you mentally and emotionally, making it difficult to feel engaged or motivated.
