Pros

Not any I can think of

Cons

This place is really bad for even moderately good technical people. This place employs worse of Indian school graduates whose only work is to please the 2 guys in IT deptt. I am and was the best of the breed engineer in any of my organization. I was given a very unfair PIP. I contested and send to HR that all 10 points in PIP were wrong. They hold that PIP and starting harassing me. I left and got really good position. I kept asking HR about point by point rebuttal I wrote of PIP and have no answer till today. Please stay away from this place. I am exploring my options to sue and talking to attorneys. HR just does the dirty laundry of management. No innovation or tech advance work here,

Pros

Well-known international brand part of LVMH. Work with exciting brands and influencers. Secure high rise office building centrally located in downtown SF. Open, airy cubicle workspaces. Work-life balance.

Cons

High level management exodus, broken processes across departments, elevated brand perception declining.

Pros

The work itself is easy and can be really fun. Sharing makeup tips and tricks with clients and cast members really makes the day fly by. Trainings are great if you're passionate about what you do. Meeting new people everyday means you're never bored. Everyone contributes to the company goals which means meeting them is slightly easier than a commission based job.

Cons

The worst thing about working at Sephora is the way upper management treats people. There are plenty of unprofessional managers in the company and they get moved around rather than let go. Those same managers go on to cause problems for good workers. There really is no "checks and balance" system the way there should be because there are so many looking out for themselves. I've seen so many great people get lost in the mix and let go because of unqualified, immature and unprofessional managers.
