Old-Fashioned and Toxic

Pros

You can get some first-hand knowledge of the security industry. Depending on what department you're in you may have the opportunity to perform a broader range of tasks than you would at a larger company.

Cons

With few exceptions, it's a toxic organization. It's very old-fashioned in how it operates internally for a technology company. Upper management is a combination of machismo, salesmanship and aw-shucks faux-southern charm. Also of note is how the entire company is run by sales with almost no real effort to bring in business by simply attracting it. I witnessed a steady exodus of talent in my time there and an increasing inability to attract impressive candidates.

Pros

The people I worked with in my territory and my direct manager was great.

Cons

When I joined in October of 2022, I had one manager and a set territory. By January that changed and layoffs already started. They went 100 percent channel when they were not ready for it and my territory changed twice and already by October, they laid off 25 percent of the workforce. Owner was finally sick and tired of sinking money into a sinking ship that CEO is driving. She is inexperienced and not forward thinking enough to right the ship. She should be ashamed at what she has done to so many peoples lives by the way revenue was recognized in resolutioning to the Taegis platform.

Feels like riding the Titanic

Pros

Good benefits, tools, and technology to do your job

Cons

Poor communication within the company. Lack of strategy and feels like top management is only reacting to the quarterly metrics and desperately trying to please their bosses (top investors) instead of focusing on the products. Severance policy keeps changing ahead of mass layoffs. There is a sense of lack of leadership and culture within the company. If you’re working there, time to look for a new job.
