Pros

Got to work side by side with associates; helped build community relationships at several locations in turn helped established sales. Learned a lot on one-on-one selling environment.

Cons

Poor/inconsistent communication from top to store; company believes in the ends justify the means rather than service with integrity; focuses on too many measurements to have strong performing stores and associates. Very long work hours (6 and 7 days are common)

Pros

They give you a laptop to use, the atmosphere in the office is usually upbeat.

Cons

You are gone all the time, 2 hours to your appointment and you run 3 appointments a day - you start at 6am and get home at 2am. They say you will make a lot of money and you don't. Even with millage it doesn't even cover your costs. Most of the people I worked with said they hadn't received a paycheck in over 4 months.

Pros

Some flexability in scheduling if you are on good terms with your manager. Most leads and ASMs seem to care about the people they work with.

Cons

All management from store manager seem to care about are the stupid Shop Your Way Rewards, suckering people into credit, and selling protection agreements that really don't cover all that much. They forget the ones that make the stores work are good hardworking people with real human needs! Hours have been cut back so bad you are lucky if your not working by yourself. Don't plan on ever getting a raise (unless minimum wage goes up) because they were eliminated for any nonsalaried person years ago. More work, less pay is the rule of the day.
