Pros

the annual salary is usually pretty good

Cons

-no stability in in the organization -all business units are competing against each other rather than working together for a common goal. -no 401K match, no pension, minimal insurance assistance, no education assistance, no anual raises...

Pros

-Some of the people are nice/funny. -Free food sometimes (but it's not the healthiest!). -20% discount off of apparel (includes markdowns!). -If you're a MCA, you know what the sales/markdowns are before everyone else. -I learned the basics of visual merchandising.

Cons

-Won't pay their MCAs (even if you have a degree!) anything though the MCAs do all the work. -a raise freeze is going on (though some how the leads can get raises & promotions??? ::side eye::), so this obviously means there will be disloyal employees and a very high turnover. -No good benefits. -Unprofessional management! -No opportunities for advancement at all. -Unrealistic daily goals. -Unethical business & hiring practices.

Pros

There are a lot of good hard working people at Sears In-Home Services They have significantly upgraded their equipment and technology over the past few years

Cons

There are no raises unless you are promoted and even then the raise is small Hiring, travel and spending on supplies are stopped by the 4th quarter every year sometimes sooner if the company is not doing well which is most years Bonus incentive is usually not attainable and if you are lucky enough to make it one year the feeling is that they make it unattainable the following year
