Pros

Interesting Work. Good networking and team members to gain insight and experience from. A return to a customer focus and sales focus. Stepping away from the gimmicks.

Cons

Employees undervalued. Company in survival mode so corners are cut wherever possible. Under performing locations. Difficult work/life balance.

Pros

Sears is not quick to fire unless you have poor attendance. They will work with you and move you to any department that they believe you will excel in. The co-works and some team managers are worth staying there for. One big family.

Cons

No raise in 5 years. SSM's are not on your side and they don't care about you. There's a lot of favoritism in regards to upper management. They want you to believe they hire from within and prefer their own, not true. It's hard to move up and unless your brown nosing.
