The stability of working for this company. The Kenmore brand has alot to offer customers and this product was often the most chosen product by customers. Another pro is maintenance agreements. Maintenance agreements help to fuel how well you are paid. Customers often want to choose a product without a maintenance agreement. With the newer computerized products out there, a maintenance agreement helps to cover the problems that can come up with these newer products.

Well known brand; Learning environment; Integrated systems. Sears gives one an opportunity to understand how large corporations work and to solve large complicated problems. In addition, the nationwide presence allows you to expand your experiences when working at the corporate level.

Cons

Post merger actions and decisions have not worked as well as projected. Some of the market moves have been slow to take hold in the current economy.

-great compensation -decent experience if you enjoy the people on your team -things are so challenging that you feel very accomplished when you get things done

Cons

-horrible core values ("make money") -lack of cohesiveness among many cross-funtional teams -very corporate and cold feeling -no training at all .... completely "sink-or-swim" -employees have no pride for the company (understandable)
