Pros

The people are great. Discounts are fantastic around Christmas time.

Cons

Bad pay. Bad Management. Unrealistic "metrics" - sales associates were constantly pushed to sell credit cards with absurdly high interest rates, which annoyed customers. Management preferred associates who could sell credit cards over those who could actually assist customers.

Pros

They try hard to train you & are willing to help as needed. They are not constantly on your case to close a sale, believing an effective presentation leads to a logical sale. Most of the training is done by established consultants.

Cons

As with all sales jobs it can get kind of boring during the down times. They dont pay their cashiers enough so they constantly are losing them & rehiring new ones.

Pros

The company can still be rescued but needs to be run like a retail not balance sheet of investment firm.

Cons

The leadership has to change. Someone who knows retail needs to run it. It's time for an adult.to run the company.
