Pros

-Hardly anyone shops at Sear's anymore, so it's super chill. -I feel very valued here because they have a hard time keeping employees, so they're really nice to the ones they have. -I've gained a lot of experience from opening and closing a whole floor by myself. -You can basically do whatever you want because it's a ghost town.

Cons

-The employee discount system is really terrible. They make you join Shop Your Way, and you can only get your employee discount through Shop Your Way. This means that you have to shop here all the time in order to make use of your employee discount which is hard to do if you're making minimum wage. -High turnover rate -The most terrible POS system I have ever seen. -They're pushing a dated credit card in an effort to not be forgotten. -Same thing goes for shop your way. They will hound you to keep your email and phone number percentages about 85%.

Pros

Internal data, report and training systems are far beyond most other retailers. Company provides resources that allow associates at all levels to have access to virtually any information they could want or need.

Cons

Not enough payroll, way too much expected of most positions in most stores. Most associates have the expectations of a manager level job but could make more flipping burgers. Plenty of great ideas with horrible implementation.

Pros

The team which I worked for had good learning oppurtunities and a supportive onsite manager

Cons

1. No work from home options. 2. They bring in strange policies every year and treat each team as same. Individuals implementing the policies also do not take into account the differences in teams and work to the line. 3.Appraisals are too much process and peanut payouts. 4. Improve recruitment process. Don't just recruit anybody.
