A good in-depth understanding of the aviation ecosystem and amazing insights to what goes on behind the scenes at the airport. Colleagues are very friendly and nice. Competitive benefits as compared to other companies within the aviation industry Stable working environment, with relatively low fear of job instability

Cons

Tough environment for a company like SATS to grow as it is bounded by many regulations/ restrictions beyond its control. While it is continually trying to innovate and diversify its business, it is hard for SATS to run away from its aviation core business and that is where most of the challenges lie. What this translate into is less than average bonuses, increments, etc. Not suited for young grads/ people starting out in their career if they are looking for a dynamic environment to challenge oneself. Bosses may not be competent/ nice, depending on your luck (but I suppose that is prevalent everywhere else)

Pros

All aspects of airport ground handling services - have opportunities to go around. Most operations are pretty much self run, and let you see the inside-out of airport operations

Cons

Need good taiji skills to right a wrong - you know which dept is responsible, but need to push the blame to others. Favourism at its ''best'. Throw you a lot of projects that is not related to operations.
