Pros

Santex works with US Fortune 500 clients and has allowed me to work on very interesting projects. In a single year I have been able to work on 4 different projects, 2 of them being relatively large. Being able to make apps from scratch, and a constant supply of top-tier clients allows me to reinvent how I approach software engineering each time I face a new challenge in a project. Another big plus is that I get to work remotely,

Cons

Because they are an outsourcing company, their salaries for Senior developers are the equivalent of salaries for junior developers on the east coast. On the west coast the salary would be for interns in some places like SF.

The people, the perks and the great enviroment are some of the good things that Santex have. I can say that Santex gave me the opportunity to grow as professional and as a person. I really enjoy being part of this team!!

The usual problems for a company that is in growth.

*Lots of things to learn from the company and the clients, you can get involved in many projects. *Young people environment, good for social events. *If they think you are good and important (if you hang out with the right group of people) they will pay you what you want. *If you are outside of Argentina, they will play for your trip on Christmas time; as they celebrate the event in Argentina.

Cons

*As many companies: they only care about the business. *No competitive salaries if you don't ask for it...several times! *Santex has not experience as a International company, is a company that grew in a informal track and if you worked in a bigger and older company, you'll definitely feel the difference. *Therefor: no formal communications channels, no formal career opportunities. *CEO and OWNER is the same word around the hall.
