Pros

PTO time and pay and raises

Cons

Bank increased starting salary a few dollars but never gave those individuals making beyond more money since they had to move on there own to get more compensation. Career framework is a joke, no opportunities for management. They put all managers in the same category so now you have entry level managers making 19.00 with the managers who could make up to 39.00 an hour with less people. Individual contributors make more money then managers. If your lucky to get a raise it will be 2% for significant exceeds but they will increase you health benefits by 10%. On top of that the holding company has for different health care premiums depending on which company you work for. Health insurance is as low as 100.00 for higher select individuals covering a family where working for Santander Bank the same type of coverage cost about 700.00 per month for the family.

Pros

Work from home, train pass

Cons

Management is not diverse. They say they are all for inclusion but it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. This is the most toxic, cut throat place I have ever worked. Management will throw you under the bus and not think twice.

Pros

Nice people and colleagues

Cons

Attention commercial and corporate lending officers and professionals. This is an extremely hard place to work. This bank is very unsophisticated and has too many internal groups that get in the way of doing other banks . The systems stink and Spain is not willing to allow the US bank to behave like peer banks. Constant turnover at every level. The executive management team has no idea on how to run a commercial bank as they are all consumer and regulatory people.
