      Pros

      There are ample opportunities for career development and growth. The genzyme culture is polite. The main focus on helping patients find relief from pain or disease is a strong incentive to do a good job.

      Cons

      This is a tricky time for the company with a series of serious setbacks over the last year, it is hard to know if we will have our jobs in the next six months but it looks like things are turning around.

      focus on patients, entrepreneurial spirit. some very smart, hard working people. good industry to work in.

      management has to face the ocmpany's challenges honestly. not enough development of internal talent and insufficient ability to bring in enough people from the outside. significant politicking.
