Pros

Met some wonderful people. Started my career here. Got to move through out roles and teams with opportunities due to large size.

Cons

Extremely corporate. Feel like a number, much less so a valued employee. High expectations that do not match the support provided to you. Less about the customer, more about the profit.

It’s great that you met some wonderful people and took some great opportunities during your time at Sanctuary. Supporting our employees is very important to us, therefore it’s concerning to learn that you felt this way and would love the opportunity to gather further feedback. Please email more details to resourcing.team@sanctuary-housing.co.uk. Thanks and good luck with the rest of your career.

Pros

? there is any pros? I was so happy at the beginning to work with this company but it was a short amount of time. The induction process is really good, but you shortly realize after when you start to work....it is not a piece of cake,

Cons

Ignorance from head office, not useful system: they (head) wants you to use all of their system /program properly but they give you limited opportunity to reach it, so you are unable to use it properly,

Progression for middle class and white

Business Outlook

Pros

35 hours working week, extra holiday per year

Cons

You only get progression if you are white and it comes even quicker if you are middle class. Throwing huge amounts of money at suppliers and contractors without investing in internal teams (even though publicly they say they do). Management disconnected to what is happening on the ground. Lack of diversity in management positions.

Thank you for giving us this feedback and sharing how you felt with us. We are really disappointed to hear that this is your view but can understand why you might feel that way. Diversity is one of our values as a Group and we are consciously working to encourage applications from black or minority ethnic candidates, as well as women, members of the LGBTQ community and people with disabilities. We want Sanctuary to be a place where everyone’s face fits, because everyone is welcome and everyone can succeed. Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback and please rest assured we are continually working to improve our diversity.
