Pros

It is a company that does great work for the clients that it serves. Everyone working in the company does so with a passion for helping those who may not be able to help themselves at all times. There is never a day that you do not see the passion of everyone involved shinning through.

Cons

This passion can oftentimes come off the wrong way. It comes through in yelling, and questioning the abilities of others, instead of in a productive way. This is understandable due to everyone being strong willed. This type of environment is helpful to some, but hurtful to others. Being able to recognize if this type of situation will help you succeed, or lead you to retreat, is extremely important for an individual.

This is a company that is really helping people every single day and it's exciting to be part of it. Management is firmly committed to helping persons served and employees to do their best.

Cons

This isn't really a con but there is a realistic expectation that every employee should work hard to do their job and get it done. That isn't for everyone so you must stay committed and management is supportive in that.

Pros

Sample Supports Mission for getting people with mental disabilities jobs is amazing! I have not heard of a better mission than this one. In my year working here, I have learned so much from my co-workers and supervisors, have gained experience in my field, and have met some amazing people. I love how flexible they are with my schedule and how they give feedback about your work. The Supervisors are there when you need guidance or help but they also give you your space because they trust you to do your job. I have had a blast working at Sample Supports!

Cons

Honestly, there are not many Cons with working at Sample Supports just small annoyances. I feel that some of the employees are against new things or change and in a company like this that can sometimes be a problem.
