There are reasons why some of us have been with Sabre long time
Pros
Sabre has provided me with a variety of challenging positions over the years and this has enabled me to have a diverse skill set. It is a global company with a wide range of opportunities and seems to be well positioned to continue being a leader in the travel industry.
Cons
The recent layoffs have definitely dampened some spirits and I think it has people on edge as they don't know what to expect. The layoffs seemed to focus on employees who work remote or tend to work from home more often, which seems a little odd given that Sabre claims to be a green company using leading edge technologies. To an extent I think the remote employees have fallen out of favor because there is room for improvement in the communication between the different business units and it might be deemed a quick fix to have more people in the office more often.
