Your experience will be heavily dependent upon where you end up hence the title. There are some good groups and managers but there are some really bad, old school thinkers out there; true leaders are few and far between. If you work for one of those, you may be miserable. Do your due diligence with your potential manager and team to ensure you don't get stuck in a position you don't want to be in. Sadly the corporate culture reflects this in general.
Generally, bad travel policies (e.g. coach to Europe and South America from headquarters).
Rules in general are not consistently applied (some managers make up policies that apply to them and not you).
Capacity in HDQ parking garage is insufficient.
Seating is HDQ insufficient.
Terrible corporate booking tool (gives limited options, blocks some airlines altogether, and is inflexible) and expense reporting tool (difficult to use).
Pay is better than an airline but not by much.
Products are often late and customers often unhappy
Do your due diligence on this company (i.e. research news, litigation) and see if you want to work here.
