Pros

Great benefits and pay. Some new technology opportunities, but guarded.

Cons

They outsource IT management to places like Poland, so you may report to someone overseas.

Pros

The company does some great community and environmental outreach, and the industry is moderately interesting

Cons

Sabre acts more like an airline than a software company and wonders why they struggle to recruit and retain talent. They claim to want new ideas, but if you come in with new ideas, you will quickly get but on the "naughty list". Managers are too afraid to say no, which means you are constantly in firedrill mode, however, when the fire is out, you are still expected to meet all of the arbitrarily set deadlines from the work you dropped in order to put out the fire. People here routinely work 60+ hours/week, and instead of thanks for the hard work, they get told they aren't working enough. This place will very quickly suck the soul out of you. On top of this, you can't trust your coworkers. They will say one thing to your face and stab you in the back to your managers. Managers do not protect their employees, they take credit for their employees' wins and blame employees for losses. Run away, do not work here if you value your sanity.

Pros

Good benefits. You can work from home in most departments. Fun employee activities. Nice Cafeteria. Great headquarters facility. Charity work. Starbucks onsite. Casual dress code.

Cons

Flex space. If you don't get there early, you might not have a place to work. Very few individuals have assigned cubicles. Parking. If you don't arrive by 9am, you might have to park on the street. Middle management sucks. There are a lot of supervisors/middle management who have made their way into a management role just by working there forever and finally being promoted. Many aren't qualified and have terrible people skills. It feels like high school all over again. Location. Southlake is a long commute. There isn't affordable housing nearby and the traffic in Southlake can be unbearable.
