Pros

None, literally and I would've left it as none but I have to write 5 words.

Cons

People hate their jobs there and you can feel it. It makes sense because there is no purpose to selling lab services. THeres no sense of community. I'd rather work on a boat for no money and sail across the pacific and die.

Pros

Incredible experience to learn COPIOUS amounts of methods & procedures in a chem lab. You will work tirelessly to analyze all of the samples and contracts that the company takes on. Friendships are easily formed when it feels as if you're being hazed by upper management and their workloads. This is a wonderful stepping stone job. Current employment stated they selected me for an interview because of my employment with SGS.

Cons

This is a job where you will indefinitely burn the wick at both ends! The employment game will very quickly become "How many hours can you work in a week?". Low paying hourly position = Work as much overtime to make more money. My PR was 115hr/pay period when I began looking for other employment opportunities. Daily exposure to sunlight will be limited to only during the drive to work. Enjoy and good luck!!

Pros

Job security, good for freshers to learn, free coffee

Cons

Lower-than-average compensation, poor benefit ($750/year dental benefit for the 1st year), Heavy work load, too much overtime (weekend)-meaning improper workload), inadequate human resource, High turn over rate, keep changing priorities, very demanding management, management did not care your life-work balance
