Pros

If you live nearby then the job is nearby

Cons

It's a lot like a dictatorship. People up top do whatever they want and when things go south the people at the bottom suffer through pay cuts and layoffs. Morale is terrible but everyone is afraid to say what's on their mind because they don't want to be the next casualty of a sinking ship. And if you are willing to tell management how you feel about their business practices then they will take offence to you standing up to them. But it won't be your bosses who talk to you, no, they'll sit you down with someone from HR who doesn't know you or anything about your job and that HR person will tell you that if you aren't willing to conform to the whims of management then you aren't welcome in the company.

Pros

The people I work with are really great people. They are all willing to help you learn and grow at the company and as a person.

Cons

My hands have the skin ripped off of them every day in order to do the work. The pace is relentless in second shift, and you can expect to have at least some overtime every day. However, day shift is much more relaxed and has a significantly reduced volume of work. DCM readily pierces nitrile gloves and stings like needles piercing your skin. The pay is minimal and increases every time your increase your knowledge but, that still doesn't make the pay feasible for living on one's own until after 1 to 1.5 years of working at the company. Finally, for me, the drive, 1 hour and 20 minutes, makes working here almost the only thing I do Monday through Friday.

Pros

Great benefits compared to other companies. Overall a great team and a good place to work.

Cons

Operations not always in sync with sales efforts. SGS (Life Sciences) tends to pay slightly less than average industry standard.
