      Strong history and established processes. Very technically advanced and impressive products. Global opportunities. Excellent holidays (31 p.a.)

      Cons

      Experienced based culture that is reluctant to promote quickly. Slow and conservative. Easy to be lost as a 'small cog in a large machine'.

      Pros

      Diverse and ambitious global company with a very high calibre of people, does give a feeling of pride to say you work for RR.

      Cons

      It can be very challenging to move across sectors in mid-to-senior management positions, there appears to be a view that if you "haven't done your time" in certain areas (particularly Civil Aerospace in Derby), your skills from other sectors may not be valued there.
