Pros

Knowledgeable coworkers that are generally easy to get along with. Very flexible options when it comes to balancing work and life. If you do your job well and don't make too many waves, things will take care of themselves.

Cons

The idiots seem to have been issued Teflon jackets, I think we keep them around so they can fill the mandatory 1% of poor performers when it comes time for performance reviews to protect the good workers.

Pros

Good benefits, good work/life balance, company makes cool equipment and really tries to do the right thing. Corporate responsibility and sustainability are big with us. We're improving quality of our devices and our engineers are shockingly smart.

Cons

Some working conditions are cube cities in football-field sized rooms. We seem to always be working on improving controls and documenting controls and documenting what we're doing about controls. Sometimes it feels like we're run by auditors.

Pros

Opportunities to effect change in the organization and the dynamic skill sets of people. Learning a great deal of building an Operating rythym that will both challenge you and enable one to learn more about an operation. The ability to apply your skills to old challenges and make a better company. One has the ability not to only learn there skill set and area of expertise but other portions of the business that other company's this large would not give you the opportunity.

Cons

There are challenges with all companies and Rockwell may be no exception however, there are changes occuring that are very positive and the leadership enables you to learn, challenge yourself and the organization, and may mistakes without mortal retailation.
