Rockwell Automation reviews

Rockwell is not an engineering company anymore. Engineers are no longer trusted with anything more than travel expenses. Even technical decisions are rarely done done by engineers. People are no longer responsible for making something happen, we have committees, boards, voting. Too many people are reviewing, to few work. To change something, you need to address 10 people, many of them do not have time for the review anyway. The other problem is that engineering is considered just an expense. Need better fiscal results? Trim engineering.

Too many people who have been there forever and have no idea what makes a company successful. They think RA is world-class, but compared to its peer companies, it needs worlds of improvement.
