Well, this was experience. They don't train you as a cashier properly, put it this way a new person trained me. She taught me how to do simple transactions (as thats all they taught her) I was then considered as "till trained" and expected to work in the busiest part of the store (ladies) at the tills. However, I had no idea how to do exchanges, returns, parcel collection etc. It was awful, every two minutes I had to ask for help. Management is AWFUL, many of them are also very rude. Put it this way, that same new person that trained me left the following week. However, I have heard not all River Island stores are like this. I was in a flagship store so this may have been why. I stayed for a month and I saw more people leave than stay.
