Pros

River Island was great for the staff discount and when it came to meeting targets. We got a good uniform allowance and decent amount of breaks which was good.

Cons

It was always busy, and far too target orientated. Not enough people were appreciated for the work they do. Not enough flexibility. Management unorganised.

Pros

The discount is generous at 40% for sales advisors and 50% for managers and you get uniform allowance

Cons

The managers treat you very poorly, they do not care about your well being and require you to revolve your life around the job even if you're only part time. I'm almost always paid incorrectly and the uniform allowance isn't adequate
