Pros

MOney are good and packages are very good

Cons

Ritz- Carlton Management are very weak, they takes lot of pride in their job and they lack of Humblness. ALthought they reward al lot employees for the jobe done, they don't reward an employee for doing " really" a good job. Reward at the end of the day is given to everyone, including who doesn't deserve it! It turn to be feack and not natural. Ritz also has very stingy owner, and frequently the tools for a good managemnet of teh hotel, are not quite there. Very old forniture, computers, offices, equipment, kicthens,etc... Where I was in Dubai we were sharing 1 computer with 5 F&B Outlet. Other porperties doesn't even give e-mail access to Department Head, that says it all, about how the information are shared! LOL Ritz Carlton is the worst company I've ever worked for, and i wouldn't go back to work for them not even being payd double the salary i make now.

Pros

The policy of empowerment is one of the best reasons to work for the Ritz Carlton hotel company. The job appeals to employees other motivational needs besides compensation.

Cons

The nature of the business means you must work on some holidays and weekends.

Pros

Amazing benefits for non management jobs. Great employee discounts on rooms/ travel! Employees are treated with respect and there is long longevity at the company. The Ritz-Carlton staff are often the best in the industry and really love where they work. This clearly emulates in their job. The hotels are truly amazing and something you could be very proud of! The benefits including health and perks are fantastic! All in all the Ritz has a long history of excellance and it a fabulous brand to represnt. If you are seasoned in your career this is a wonderful place for you!

Cons

Salaries are very inconsistent based on sneior leadership. There is no consistency within the company. In general the guidance teams at all the properties are also very secretive and you can not trust them... anything you tell a guidance team member will ultimately spread throughout the hotel like fire. The Ritz-Carlton is there to protect it's assets and take care of it's guests...often at the expense of management. Although you are said to be an important asset...you are not treated that way. Non management positions DO get better treatment and recognition. Salaries at the Ritz are lower than the comp set for mud management.
