Pros

Great pay, amazing benefits, work/life balance.

Cons

Consistenly laying people off to either outsource or cut costs - usually happens every couple of years.

Pros

Good pay and decent benefits.

Cons

Terrible culture. Leaders in the organization are either too soft or try to be too hard. No alignment between departments. You have a few good people doing great things and the promotions are given to the people who "talk" the best game. If you are not an engineer, you will likely not see a big promotion.

Pros

nice friendly co-workers; very diversified workforce. managers are generally forgiving (this could be a con sometimes too. see below).

Cons

clumsy culture in terms of operation; transaction cost theory and agency theory work - so unsurprisingly, the best strategy for low-to-middle level employees is to work the minimum - just to meet the threshold.
