Pros

Really good learning curve - like gladiator training. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Cons

Revolut is life, forget to be an individual, you will be living a breathing the values and you will stop existing as a human being. If you don't care about other human beings and looking to walk over others, this is what you are looking for.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. It’s a shame that your Revolut experience didn’t work out. We don't accept the assertions in your review. We work hard to make Revolut a great place to work and we respect people's right to a decent work life balance. It's an ambitious, exciting and fast moving company but we respect each other and aim to have a supportive workplace where everyone feels valued. We're pleased to offer hybrid working across the company and the chance to work from abroad for up to 60 days and we were pleased to offer 2 extra well being days this year in recognition of the work everyone put in through Covid. As a current employee, please consider speaking up through our internal channels so we can understand your experience and how to improve it. Best wishes.

Pros

Workplace perks, brand name, money

Cons

Unnecessary rush to meet short-term KPI w/o making sure products are well-tested. Overwork the team for tasks that are not that urgent. Yes, if tasks are really urgent everyone can stay until 3am to finish it and no one will complain because we are all team players with ownership. But please stop faking urgency with no real reason :) Each team just optimize for their own kpis and often make decisions that are sub-optimal for the company in the long term. 1 problem which should be solved in a centralised way? Nah let's just do it the hacky way separately for our own team - and yay! we have 4 solutions for 1 problem and now it costs too much to maintain, and too much to migrate Toxic culture making fun of people who 'don't perform' . Old timers getting promoted to high position without real achievements apart from delivery. You should look at the achievement of the product not just count that it's been delivered :) Having so many unnecessary processes.

Pros

-Nice product, which I will definitely use when traveling abroad (and only for this purpose). -The systems are relatively new and effective.

Cons

-Toxic culture driven by the overall chaos, unnecessary haste, constant fear of being fired and empty words like A-PLAYER, STRONGER TOGETHER etc. -The only thing, which matters are the KPIs, which unfortunately are very often calculated based on wrong logic and incorrectly working tools. If your kpis are a bit lower than expected, be prepared to get fired. -Prepare to work several hours a day (10-12), without the possibility of receiving overtime pay. -Revolut has really bad reputation as an employer on Cracow market. -Very unstable and unpredictable environment, if you are thinkig about staying here for a longer period. People are joining and leaving (sometimes dissapearing without further notice), much, much more often than in other companies I have worked for. -Having Revolut in your resume is not necessarily a career turning point, rather one of hundreds of fintechs in Europe, poorly recognized abroad (EEA). -Revolut prides itself on being competitive on the Crakow market, however, comparing this employer to other companies, this situation has changed significantly for some time and now is in the middle or even at the end of the stake (taking into consideration unpait OT's for example). And the last point, I am really wondering, who is writing all these positive comms, because franky speaking, I don't know anyone who would have such a good opinion about this company.

Hello, thank you for your review. Revolut is on a hyper-growth trajectory, and that demands a lot of our people and brings challenges as we adapt to opportunities and risks. Many people enjoy and can thrive on those challenges. Revolut aims to be a welcoming, exciting employer where our people can grow and be successful. But it might not be for everyone. That being said, we never want to grow at the expense of our people. If your Revoluter experience hasn't been fantastic, we'd recommend that you raise feedback through our many internal channels so the relevant teams can take a closer look at how to make Revolut a great place to work. Meanwhile thank you for fighting financial crime so our customers can use our products with peace of mind. We wish you well.
