Pros

To receive lots of hours and great over time. To gather lots of experience documenting leads and learning how to market your company and yourself. Learning how to rely on only your efforts to generate profits and revenues. Learning how to sell used merchandise and alter terming matrix to make a reasonable rental agreements that will satisfy your customer and your company.

Cons

Long hours, demanding District Managers, poor communications skills, and poor software, and poor salary increases.

Pros

Alone time on the road with no manager breathing down your neck. "So so"pay Time to see the insect world ..ya know Roaches,Fleas and Ticks

Cons

Zero Life ..no family,no friends ,no kids,,,NO LIFE. 15 cent a year raises..10 yrs with the company you can make a huge $11.50 hr. 2 days of personal time a year. two weeks of vacation time a year ,you can use when upper management thinks its OK ..No Oct-Feb time off Paid holidays is the biggest scam off all...you work your day off and they pay you for the holiday 8 straight hrs (not overtime ones) Employee purchase puts you on the same ground as customers..over paying even at store cost for cheap junk. Benefits other then dental is way overpriced and worthless. Management calls the shots ..you take the blame if it doesn't go well. Stressful quotas to make weekly. Dealing with the armpit of society. Dangerous situations on repos. Favoritism on whom to repo or not. While credit numbers slack. Long hours Hard work during harsh weather. They think sending one man to deliver a double door fridge up 100 stairs ..acceptable. Terrible turnover and cut throat employees purposely getting upper management fired to advance.

Pros

It is a paycheck. It has some benefits. Rent A Center has free parking. Not much else to be said for it. Other than they are the highest turnover company I have ever been associated with and it is not surprising why. Being the highest turnover I have seen is not a prize most companies would want. I suppose being number 1 is to be viewed as a pro. I would guess turnover is at least 50% and that is in the HQ.

Cons

Poor pay. Very few benefits and what they have is not good. Vacation / Off time is substandard. Turnover is high. Normally, hiring people one knows is good. Rent A Center likes referrals but has built "clicks" and pockets of way too much political influence using that approach. Respect is a great word and in their credo. But, I do not see it in play. People are afraid to speak up and constantly look over their shoulders.
