      Some great people, 3rd World work environment, below average pay scales.

      Pros

      The people doing the "actual work" on average are a great bunch.

      Cons

      The management team at the corporate level seems to be very disconnected and "full of themselves." The wage scales are significantly below average. The work areas for all departments reflect the call center mentality throughout the company providing miniscule or no work spaces. Very much a third world mentality toward employees.

      Pros

      If your boss is cool enough and you live in east bay you can work in the Pleasonton office which many people don't know of. If you want a job you can clock in and out and go home and not think of...it's for you.

      Cons

      Little vacation, Boring. terrible bonus, No upward mobility, eCommerce is a man's world. Have to know someone or be friends with the CTO, or Director of eComm to get any upward mobility in the web world. No innovation and a lack of smart people. Extremely disorganized and very few decision makers, instead lots of "yes men." So much change in management that leaders and directors are only looking out for themselves and don't pay attention to the people that are working hard and going above and beyond.

      Pros

      Good learning experience on how furniture and different fabrics are made. I enjoyed my time with the company, and enjoyed the staff.

      Cons

      I wish they had vendors come into the stores to demonstrate or talk about how their products were made/designed. This kind of education really could help the sales team sell the products with confidence.
