Pros

-Competitive discount -Ability to move within the company -Flexible daily start/end times -Self driven learning, individual growth -Occasionally work from home

Cons

-Lack of company/department goals and accomplishments -No formal training or process documentation -Very little support for change or newness -No direction or setting of personal expectations -No weekly or daily touch bases, handle work as it comes -Very significant periods of downtime, unbelievably slow paced environment -Work was always split up and not delegated to capable or available members of the team -Extremely immature, unprofessional environment (within certain departments) where talking smack and snickering within earshot of targets is an hourly occurrence -Lack of available productive conflict resolution -Constantly being reminded of "having the right people in the right places" helps create anxiety about job stability mixed frequent small rounds of lay offs is not productive for high morale -Exclusive lunches and happy hours -Overpaid for the job description/experience which makes it difficult to remain in the same salary bracket when searching for another job -Changing job descriptions and company reorganization also contributes to a variance between actual job and job description

Pros

"People first" is one of their core values to attract people to work for the company. Low paying jobs. Good benefit packages but only if you are full time.

Cons

Once employed then you realized it;s not easy to be full time with benefits. If managers don't like you they will dangle that in front of you until you decide to give up and leave because you weren't given enough hours. You are at the mercy of the managers and yes you can show that you are competent and able to do the job but if you are not willing to suck up to them then you will be treated unfairly. The fact is because managers have to do a lot of sucking up themselves, it's expected of you to do the same. There is no job security here.

Pros

So you were hired at RH and given a brainwash on their vision, values and beliefs! They accomplished their goal to turn you into a soulless empty puppet on a tight string - putting on that ugly mask that runs through your blood now.

Cons

You will find yourself preaching values that are so far away from your own beliefs that you will become a shadow version of yourself. Mentally drained and humanly detached. Try to run and the sling will tighten around your neck.
