*Basic salary isn't that good for the unsociable hours worked weekends bank holidays etc (expect to work around half the weekends in the year) *You work alone rarely meet colleagues no sense of teamwork/leadership which results in low moral most other patrols are very negative to talk to and just stay in the job for an easy life. *No real career progression, even if you go into management you won't progress up the ladder and will instead be used as a puppet by those more senior, the company often does a reshuffle of management structure meaning less job security in management than as patrol. *Holiday leave requests can often be rejected regardless of how essential the reason for leave is. Weddings family events/holidays they don't care if computer says no they will happily reject it. (this is a big negative almost all patrols always point out and complain about) *3 weeks of your holiday entitlement has to be given a year in advance to be built into your rota. *The company pretends to care about feedback but nothing ever changes and no effort is ever made by the company for team building. *Only one training day a year which can sometimes be canceled if busy *Poor leave over xmas and kids holidays, your guaranteed xmas day off and that's it and if you want to apply for more leave over xmas it's like a lucky dip if you get the leave, kids term times are busy periods so holiday leave is often rejected.
