We never want any colleague to feel overworked, unsupported, or affected by toxic behaviours, and although you’re no longer with us, we appreciate you raising these concerns. We’re glad to hear you found value in the hybrid working, benefits, variety, and opportunities to grow. However, the issues you’ve highlighted don’t reflect the standards we expect for our colleagues. We take concerns around management support and culture seriously, and we continue to focus on ensuring teams have the right leadership, workload balance, and environment to thrive. While you’ve since moved on, we want to be clear that toxicity is not tolerated at RAC. Any current colleague who feels they’re not receiving the support they need from their manager is encouraged to speak confidentially with our People Team, who are always available to help. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to make it clear: mental health and wellbeing are extremely important to us so please reach out to your Line Manager, the People Team, or use our confidential EAP service if you need support. While KPIs help us track business goals, we care deeply about our colleagues beyond these measures. Progression opportunities may vary by team, but we encourage you to explore our L&D resources, speak with your manager about development options, and check our careers site for new roles. We fully support growth in all forms and there are lots of resources out there to support this! On feedback, if conversations with your manager aren’t leading anywhere, please contact the People Team (HR). We also run regular feedback loops across the business, which are reviewed and acted upon to drive positive change.
