Pros

Most people are nice and empathetic, probably due to building trauma bonds from working here

Cons

Absolutely everything, One of the most degrading and mentally draining jobs in existence. Prepare to be shouted at for hours on end by customers who have been left roadside for hours, sometimes even days. There is no complaints number, or proper escalation process in place meaning call handlers take the brunt of it all.

Pros

Great and simple work, plenty of overtime opportunities and great benefits to working for the RAC. Very easy to ‘work your way up the ladder’

Cons

The management sometimes are not willing to give you the time of day. Will promise to have a conversation about a concern then never get back to you. Management are definitely not approachable. Except for BAC management
