Pros

Great place to work at, good cooperative colleagues and great flexible environment. Hard work and honesty do earn you trust and more responsibility. People like Saeed Dehnadi, Pete Behague, Ben Sweetman and Lisa Snook are huge assets to the company.

Cons

None I can think of.

Pros

Training was informative, tutors were great and assessors would answer any questions on your work

Cons

Failed to vet the company correctly. Refused to assist an apprentice when they were unable to attend training to lack of money. Did very little to nothing to help an apprentice when they were assaulted multiple times in the workplace. Assessors took a long period of time to answer emails back from the apprentice

Please be assured that in the case that behaviour by a colleague is deemed inappropriate we will be taking appropriate action. If you would like to discuss this please contact any member of your former team you feel comfortable speaking with, and ask them to address this directly with the People Team so that we can support you further.

"At least you have a job" - their words!

Pros

this is a review for QA Consulting not the entire QA, and I feel bad for QA that QAC uses their name. - it's great to mistreated in order to raise "company" profit - love to be ignored - take high pleasure in being lied to! - geographically flexible: deployed to a corner of the map for a never ending "3 months"

Cons

The bespoke training they keep boasting about is nothing but common sense talk that you already know or can google effortlessly and sometimes you have to teach them (i.e. CI and DevOps). It has no real value and of course no certification therefore you're paying 12k for them to waste your time in Manchester for 3 months while being unpaid. When you actually get deployed, they will completely forget about you, unless you do something that is not to their liking, moment when you will be shouted at like you're 2 again by some person who you've never heard of. They claim there is an appraisal process - there is nothing but more empty talks. The wage is less than decent, especially if you are sent off to London. They put stops to any personal development initiative and they hide under the cloak of offering you more of their "training" - which you will have to pay again. You don't even decide when to take your holidays and when you're sick or on leave you loose a great amount of the already small pay. This list could continue indefinitely but the main point is that they do not care about their employees and their sole purpose is to take care of themselves.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments. As with any feedback which flags up issues which are not meeting the promise we make to our people please be assured that we will take your comments seriously. With the personal comments you mention, we would advise that in the first instance you discuss this with your line manager. If this is not appropriate, we would encourage you to call our People Team to have a confidential conversation and discuss how this matter can be resolved with their help. Regarding training, we offer programmes which are focussed on niche Technologies which are in high demand by current and potential clients. This does mean that in a very short space of time you are qualified to be placed at clients doing work which would otherwise take much longer - which we believe is of great benefit to the careers of those we employ. Regarding development, this is something to discuss with your line manager. Although we do have a formal appraisal and development process in place for all employees, we do encourage you to also take a proactive approach to your development. Seeking out opportunities and highlighting early how you would like your career with us to progress. We hope this helps with any concerns you may have, and we hope that with the above advice your experience with us improves quickly.
