Pros

You will find passionate people with lots of experience and expertise in certain areas. There is flexibility to work from home in some specific teams and roles. The three-day training benefit per year is somewhat limited, as it only applies to the QA portfolio.

Cons

There has been significant negative change in the company over the last 2-3 years, and it has been poorly managed. The company appears to prioritize profit and sales over genuine concern for its customers and employees. There is a lack of transparency regarding salaries and career progression. Layoffs and new positions seem to be biased towards certain individuals and specific parts of the business. Significant salary gaps exist within the company. Employees may feel unrewarded and discouraged as a result.

Hi there, Thanks so much for your review. As you will know, over the past 18 months we have been working hard to bring three businesses together under one vision and brand. As part of this we are constantly reviewing how we offer a clear value proposition to employees around what they can expect from a career with QA and redefining a consistent approach to activies like recruiting new hires, clear communication and training. We are really keen to understand more about how we can improve so please feel free to come and have a direct chat with me. We have recently launched our Manager training programme for all managers accross QA to help support them on the front line with our people in addition to the 3 development days everyone gets for all QA authored courses and self paced learning on our platform so have a look into that if helpful. Tell us what else you would like to see - its helpful for us to know directly. All the best, Steph (QA People team)
