Pros

A decent paycheck, insurance and benefits for full time employees.

Cons

They change rules and policy without posting changes, you work 12 hour shifts with a 12 hour overtime day everyweek, 60 hr one week 48 the next week and so on. That does not give you much time off to have time for family, god, or just take a deep breath. They taken earned time from a lot of employees over the last 2 years from lex plant to ky. Plant. People that have had 40 hours of personal time for years have had it reduced! Way to go Prysmian, your greed over the sacrifice of employees service.

Pros

You get to travel the world, work for a multi-national, good experience

Cons

Lets talk about HR. They are not your friends and will look to nickle and dime you to eternity. No matter your function, no matter what country you work in whether that is asia, europe or the Americas. They will look to pay you as little as possible during and after your assignment. They will not fulfill their obligations. My advice for any Prysmian employee is to always at all times have an exit strategy because the way they treat their employees, is the way I treat my broken down car. Everything is controlled by milan, don't EVER think that your local HR has any power to help you.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits. Plenty of hours

Cons

Management does not care about its employees. Quick to blame you for a machine malfunction. Hard to change jobs. Overtime is forced on you. They don't want to fix the problems with their equipment just put a bandaid on it and keep going. It's very hot in the summer
