Pros

Come to an office that has terrific work atmosphere that includes interacting with colleagues from all over the world and speaking various languages and people with different educational background. Not to mention great salary and awesome career opportunities.

Cons

Very competitive company so if you just want to get by then you may not last very long. If you are not motivated or hungry for growth then Prysmian is not for you.

Pros

Despite a history of 130+ years, locations in 50 countries, and 19,000+ employees, working for Prysmian still feels like you are in a small family owned business. In my experience I have found everybody to be very open, friendly, and encouraging. Prysmian wants you to learn and be engaged with the company, and they reward you very well for good performance. It is very apparent that Prysmian became the world's largest cable manufacturer by investing in its employees.

Cons

Due to the size of the company it can sometimes be difficult to make small systematic enhancements, however this is nothing that significantly effects the day to day operations for the employees.

Pros

Good benefits. Company is desperate for new people.

Cons

Schedule can be changed on you with less than 24hrs notice. The management team is more concerned with covering for each other than actual strives for excellence. Your ideas do not matter here. Most ground floor employees brought in are not properly screened. A pulse is about all that is required. Outdated equipment that causes downtime. Company is CHEAP and follows the "Band-aid to cure Cancer" approach to Maintenance issues. Older employees nearing retirement fear the current outlook and are afraid of lost benefits. Politics run the roost. It is more like high school with cliche mentality. Get anything promised in writing or it will not happen.
