Pros

Coworkers are usually great, on site at a hospital so you have access to thr cafeteria gift shop multiple parking areas numerous bathrooms.

Cons

Management plays favorites hard core. Pushes to fill the grid or all available appointment spots then we lose patients because no one wants to wait three weeks for a scan. No employee only bathrooms so we are sharing with anyone who needs one in the hall. Not enough employees to handle the incoming calls so you don't get many head breaks, just constantly taking or making calls. No room for growth, rhey tell you one thing th3n change their minds later. Management doesnt communicate with lower staff, we loat a lead and disnt know she quit for almost a month before they told us. No work life balace. If you need time off you have to know way in advance because they wont let more than one person be off on pto at a time.

Pros

The "working" people are mostly amazing (except for the ones that are "retired in-place" and apparently immune to being downsized).

Cons

Lots of lip-service to "The Mission", but IS Management has been wholly subsumed by Microsoft Corporate Mentality - everything that can be outsourced to India is already there, or on the way. Lots of "not my job" & people keeping their heads down so their jobs aren't outsourced, and they're forced to train their cheaper replacements.

Pros

Due to large technical debt, there was a ton of opportunity and ability to make a real difference.

Cons

When a new CIO was brought in, he began implanting his past team and removing existing leadership. This practice then began the start of the next 3 management layers being replaced with the one-up layer of leadership bringing in their past teams, displacing the active leadership layers.
