Pros

Pay and Benefits, work from home flexibility Work with great people internally and with volunteers externally

Cons

Micro-Management and politics Outdated operating systems which are replaced with incomplete system updates that "will be fixed later", and are still broken many years later causing issues for the next system replacement. Ideas are typically ignored unless you are a favorite. I have given my ideas to other favorites after being given to management only to then see them considered. Currently undergoing a digital transformation which has been more of a staff purge(50% of tenured staff of 5 plus years let go) Note: Many of the positive reviews are coming from volunteers. They do reflect how well volunteers are treated. Unfortunately, it does not reflect how the staff are treated at PMI.

Pros

If you want a job where you can come and go as you please and not be accountable for anything then this is the place for you.

Cons

Everything. Management is poor. Work is boring. Subject Matter is boring. Hard to believe but their project management is one of the worst I've ever seen.

Pros

Remote work, but that is really it.

Cons

Compensation used to be competitive, but workload, expectations and initiatives have increased, Everyone is being asked to do more, and work harder with the same resources with no consideration for fair pay. Senior leaders are well aware of how they are perceived, but choose to do nothing, or simply say they are working on fixing things, with no tangible efforts seen. Our CEO is running the reputation, culture, and company into the ground for the sake of revenue. Him and his executive team are known bullies, and even though this has been complained about by so many of us, even to HR, nothing is ever done about it. We NEED board intervention. Just take a look at PMI's ratings. Even with the reviews obviously crafted and directed by internal leaders to try and suppress negative reviews. I will also add that career growth is non-existent, and the determined best fix for these concerns was training telling employees its their problem to figure out. Really makes us feel valued.
